What are the responsibilities and job description for the REGISTERED NURSE position at Natsu Healthcare?
NAT-SU Healthcare is looking looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our organization. As a Registered Nurse you will work directly with our clients/patients to ensure that qualified medical services are available to them. This role will assist in ensuring that the clients/patients’ medical needs are met with consistency, care and accuracy. This position could include triaging emergencies, illnesses, administering medications, wound care, ostomy care, catheter care, as well as other tasks within your scope of practice. Also, making recommendations for further treatment by the facilities healthcare providers, urgent care or ER when necessary.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with RTC and clinic patient’s needs.
- Coordinates with providers of the NAT-SU Health Clinic to provide clinical care.
- Other duties as assigned by Clinic Coordinator.
- Triage illnesses as needed and recommend appropriate next steps if needed.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Enter notes and medical records into the system in a timely manner.
- Communicates using appropriate protocol.
- Performs other special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient, institutional and staff information.
- Adheres to professional and legal standards.
- Train staff to do med-pass if needed.
- Participates in meetings and projects.
- Able to perform all duties in a timely manner.
- On-Call Support as needed.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Proficient in Nursing practices.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and software.
- Ability to establish working relationships with staff, patients/families and the public.
- Ability to assess available resources to provide patient care.
- Ability to accurately take all vital signs.
- Perform EKG, phlebotomy and CLIA waived tests.
- Must have good spelling, grammar and ability to correctly document patient encounters.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN License required with the State of Utah.
- Current and valid CPR/BLS Certification
- Preferred experience with behavioral health clients/patients.
- Preferred experience with substance use disorders.
- Experience with triaging sickness and injuries.

This position is subject to Native American/Alaskan Native preference.
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $41.00
