Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Manage front desk operations efficiently, including handling multi-line phone systems and guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist guests with reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests using hospitality reservation systems
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction through personalized attention
- Support hotel management in emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs swiftly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, check-ins/outs, and incident reports to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk roles within hotels or resorts is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guest populations
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unexpected situations confidently
- Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems to communicate clearly and efficiently
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the part-time schedule
