Job Summary

Job Summary

To plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate the activities and operations of the nurse's office; to coordinate assigned activities with other school activities; and to provide highly responsible staff assistance to the school principal and school health assistant regarding health related matters. Receives general direction from the Coordinator of Student Services or the Coordinator of Special Education. Exercises functional supervision over assigned technical and clerical staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must hold a California Registered Nurse License/Nurse Practitioner, Public Health Nursing Certificate, or School Nurse Credential. Please note that Healthcare experience and a Bachelor's degree is required. ** To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be the most recent supervisor.
