Job Description: Summary of Position
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the quality assurance program and its’ initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
3 years of experience in a production/manufacturing and quality assurance environment using the criteria listed above
Physical Requirements
Office – will be required to sit at desk using computer, standing and walking for 8 or more hours each day
Manufacturing – will be required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach in various capacities throughout the day
Will be required to lift 0-10 pounds regularly, up to 20 pounds occasionally, and up to 30 pounds infrequently

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the quality assurance program and its’ initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and sustained maintenance of procedures and work instructions within Quality Management System
- Assist the Quality Manager with internal and external audits
- Lead and facilitate RCCA analysis (Root Cause Corrective Action) for all internal and external matters
- Perform measurement tool calibrations and maintain recall system per QMS requirements
- Provides technical guidance to support company’s quality objectives
- Prepares documents and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Must have experience with ISO9001
- Must be familiar with the methodology of Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other related engineering requirements
- Possess strong working knowledge of measurement tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators
- Strong communication and organizational skills are a must
- Must have strong working knowledge of QMS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
