What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Wholesaler - Retirement position at Natixis - HR Co-Op?
Overview:
- The Retirement Advisory Development Unit is focused on building Institutional sales success for Natixis Sustainable Future Target Date Series as well as other Natixis Affiliate asset managers through retirement focused advisors, recordkeeper partners and plan sponsors where appropriate. The Investment Consultant must work in close collaboration with internal sales partners in the Advisory Development Unit and Fiduciary Development Unit. This position is located in Boston, MA.
What you will do:
- Support the external sales team to meet and surpass sales, revenue, margin and activity goals at the individual and team targets
- Cultivate relationships with investment professionals and target audiences via outbound calls, marketing, and virtual meetings.
- Market firm products; convey investment ideas; provide product information; and gather data to influence sales
- Network, consult and collaborate with existing affiliate specialists and work in conjunction where appropriate
- Become an expert in the Natixis Sustainable Futures Funds and Natixis retirement focused products & solutions
- Provide service to existing clients where appropriate and help coordinate client service offerings and expectations
- Communicate and build awareness internally and externally of market landscape, current initiatives and successes
- Capture activity and substantive conversations and pipeline opportunities via CRM or other designated tool
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Series 7 & 63 licenses (or equivalent) or Series 6 and 63 (with a commitment to obtain the Series 7 upon hire) are required. Previously held series 7 and 63 licenses that are inactive will be considered, provided that all required exams are retaken and passed within three months of being hired.
- DCIO sales experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of financial marketplace, investment products and analysis
- Collegial, collaborative with a team orientated approach
- Ability to multitask and represent a broad suite of products and strategies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Some travel required.
