Role Description The Math Intervention Teacher is a part-time, on-site role based in Rochester, NY, focused on supporting middle school students in developing strong mathematical understanding and skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging math lessons, providing small-group or individualized instruction, and reinforcing core curriculum standards. The specialist collaborates with teachers to design and refine math curriculum, analyze assessment data, and identify students’ learning needs. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Experience with Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning to design effective, standards-based math instruction.

- Prior experience working with middle school students or in a similar educational setting is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a closely related field preferred.
