What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fly Shop Employee position at Natives Fly Fishing?
Natives Fly Fishing is looking for a reliable, positive, and hardworking individual to join our shop team part-time!
Fly fishing knowledge is preferred, but not required — we are happy to teach the right person. We’re looking for someone with a great attitude who enjoys working with people and is willing to learn.
Job duties may include:
• Running daily shop operations
• Assisting customers with gear and questions
• Handling cash and card transactions
• Answering phones and questions about guided trips
• Stocking merchandise and checking inventory
• Fulfilling online and in-store orders
• Setting up reels and gear
• Light shop cleaning and upkeep
• Building nets and processing bucktails
• Other shop-related duties as needed
Schedule:
• 2–3 days per week
• Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 2 PM
• Weekend availability required
Requirements:
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Punctual and dependable
• Customer service mindset
• Willingness to learn and work independently
