Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors courteously and professionally, providing assistance as needed.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with mobile healthcare providers.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary forms and supplies.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support clinical staff and patient care operations.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical office administration is preferred.
- Experience in medical front desk or receptionist roles is an asset.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
