Native Sun Kitchen & Market is looking for all deli positions to join our team! We are rapidly growing. Responsibilities for Kitchen:
- Maintain food safety standards in accordance with local regulatory requirements;
- Maintain clean and safe work stations;
- Work with your team to prioritize production needs for the day;
- Prep vegetables and proteins using knives and other kitchen tools in accordance with our recipe standards;
- Kitchen: Operate ovens, stove tops, immersion blenders, food processors, and shredders in service of production goals;
- Make yourself available for scheduling. It’s retail, so weekends are required.
Responsibilities for Front of House:
- Be a helpful and enthusiastic member of your team;
- Create exceptional customer experiences through engagement;
- Assist customers through the ordering process, and ensure that their orders are sent to the proper station;
- Make the best smoothies and sandwiches in Jax Beach;
- Produce and package grab and go foods;
- Proactively engage guests and ensure they have a great experience.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail;
- General knowledge of Food Safety practices;
- Positive Attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Prior food and beverage experience heavily preferred.
Must Be Able To:
- Stand for up to 8 hour shifts
- Operate in hot or cold work environments (occasional trips to a walk-in freezer);
- Kneel and bend
- Lift up to 30lbs in front of house, up to 50 lbs in back of house
- Work weekends
Minimum pay is $15/hour, but starting rate is based on prior experience. Eligible full-time team members are offered a benefits package, and all team members receive a 25% discount on merchandise.
