The Service Project Coordinator position is responsible for the following:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating service activities, ensuring efficient communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Service Coordinator may be required to accompany other technicians during site visits, or to gather information on an as needed basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret the solar panel installation plans to assist in system information gathering.
- Provides off-site information gathering using solar monitoring portals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and providing updates on service status.
- Coordinate with technicians and other team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of service requests, customer interactions, and service outcomes in the company's CRM system.
- Monitor and manage service schedules to ensure all appointments are completed on time.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures, timelines, and any necessary preparations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Track and report on service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Advises customers on shut-down, start-up, operation, and maintenance of various pieces of equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and manufactures to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the service manager.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Highly effective organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient with using computer/ mobile applications to document field/ office progress
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision as well as with a team.
- Shows excellent customer service, communication skills while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize additional sales opportunities and effectively communicate the wishes of the customer to the staff coordinating the project process.
- Prior experience in a service coordination or customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of hand-held power tool operation and safety.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs of weight
- Must be willing to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops
- Prior solar industry experience is a plus
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
