Your Opportunity:
As a Shop Hand at Native Pest Management, you’ll play a vital role in helping our operations run smoothly by maintaining clean vehicles, assisting with light repairs, and supporting warehouse organization. If you’re someone who enjoys hands-on work, fixing things, and keeping equipment in top shape, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This position is well-suited for someone who is mechanically inclined, takes pride in a clean and orderly workspace, and is looking to grow with a fast-paced and growing company. Some prior experience with tools, auto maintenance, or light repairs is preferred, but not required if you’re a motivated, reliable team player who loves to learn!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Washing and detailing company trucks
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance (replace windshield wipers, cabin air filters, fluids)
- Helping with small equipment repairs and upkeep (e.g., B&G sprayers, power tools)
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assisting the fleet and operations teams with special tasks as needed
- Tracking work completed and reporting equipment issues
- Supporting a safety-first environment and maintaining proper storage of chemicals and tools

Requirements:
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience with car maintenance, tools, or equipment repair is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work a full-time schedule and lift 50 lbs as needed
- Willingness to work in and around warehouse/shop environments
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or with a team
- Must pass all pre-employment screening (criminal history, driving record, and prior employment verification)
- Physical Requirements: This role may include standing for extended periods, working in hot or humid conditions, lifting and moving heavy tools or parts, and occasional bending, crawling, or reaching in tight spaces (such as under trucks or in storage areas).
