SUMMARY:

The Dispensary Sales Associate is responsible for guiding a patient on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function of a Dispensary Sales Associate is to facilitate a patient’s purchase per Tribal regulations, while providing an exceptional patient experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISION REQUIRED

  • Will work under the direct supervision of the Dispensary Management

QUALIFICATIONS/TYPICAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be 21 years of age and comply with tribal hiring regulations
  • Maintain Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass P.L. 101-630 Background Check
  • Must pass drug/alcohol screening
  • Multi-task on several levels while staying compliant with policies and procedures
  • Remain calm in periods of high stress
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to calculate perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Can stand for hours
  • Eye for detail
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • Maintain basic hygiene
  • Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, on-call as needed
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Applicable experience required.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and/or lift to 50 lbs. repetitively. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and position oneself, communicate, operate, and prepare, and place and position objects, tools and equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a retail environment. The noise level in the work environment can range from low to high. Temperatures in the work environment range from cold and dry to warm and humid, respective to the product processes. The work environment requires the use of PPE at all phases, and strict cleaning and cross-contamination protocols. The product and plants are agriculture goods that have the ability to produce odors that may linger, can penetrate clothing and heighten senses.

Salary : $15 - $18
