What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jewelry sales associate position at Native Jewelry of Sedona?
Native Jewelry of Sedona features a beautiful collection of authentic handmade Native American art including jewelry from Southwest tribes, Navajo sandpaintings, Pueblo pottery, carving knives, and more. We’re located in Uptown Sedona and known for our high-quality pieces, warm atmosphere, and the knowledge we share with every customer.
We’re looking for a motivated, friendly, and dependable Sales Associate to join our team long-term. Someone who enjoys connecting with people, learning about Native art, and creating a welcoming experience for visitors.
What you’ll do:
- Greet and assist customers, sharing product and artist information
- Handle jewelry and artwork carefully
- Operate the point-of-sale system (training provided)
- Open and close the store independently
- Keep the store clean and beautifully presented
What we’re looking for:
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Reliable and able to multitask
- Interest in Native American art and culture (training provided)
- Reliable transportation
Pay & Schedule:
- $18/hour during two-week training
- $20–$22/hour after training (based on experience and learning speed)
- Part-time: 2 days per week, 10-hour shifts (9 AM–7 PM)
