Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate/Full Professor of Native American Studies located in Davis, CA. The Associate/Full Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research in Native American Studies, publishing scholarly work, and participating in departmental and university service activities. The role also includes mentoring students, developing curriculum, and engaging with Native American communities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Native American Studies and a strong record of scholarly research and publication
- Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
- Strong mentoring and advising skills for students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to engaging with Native American communities
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work in a diverse academic environment
- PhD in Native American Studies or a related field
