REGISTERED NURSE - PSYCH

• Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Effective Immediately: MUST include your AGENCY Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) up front with all Berkshire Health System nursing submissions
• License required by the state of MA to staff for temporary needs
• Candidates cannot be considered without this license uploaded with traveler profile
• BERKSHIRE HEALTH SYSTEM WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY
• Include permanent address at profile upload to avoid processing delays
• Requested time off during assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload
• RTO requests after upload will NOT be approved; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted (less is better)

Holiday coverage: Travelers required to work TWO of the following:

• Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after
• New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after
• Extensions ending in November or before the holiday starts in December will NOT be considered for extension at the beginning of 2026
• 8hr Shift: 7a-3:30p; accommodations (10/12hr shifts) will not be considered
• Position location: BMC McGee Unit, detox unit
• Berkshire Medical Center: 14 psychiatrists, 10 clinical nurse specialists, plus clinical psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other clinicians
• Programs: 2 inpatient psychiatry units, 1 inpatient chemical dependency unit, 1 clinical stabilization unit (CSS), partial hospital, child crisis stabilization unit, 2 adult acute crisis houses, half-way houses, rehabilitation programs, 7 outpatient clinics, crisis team
• Last year: treated ~12,000 of 135,000 people in Berkshire County
• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
• 8hrs non-billable orientation
• Call-Back (if applicable), Holiday and OT multipliers

Submission requirements:

• 2 years current Behavioral Health experience
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• Previous Travel required (at least 6 months)
• Traveler must have own vehicle
• Traveler’s permanent address must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; facility will NOT approve requests at/after offer

• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from past 2 years of employment)
• License/Certifications must be uploaded with profile
• OnCall: Possible
• Weekend Description: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• State Licenses: Massachusetts
• Guaranteed Hours: 40
• 13 WEEKS OF CONTRACT

Pay: $58.00 - $62.00 per hour
