Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer and carrier relationships.
- Prospect and secure new business through cold calls, referrals, and networking.
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shippers and carriers.
- Coordinate freight shipments from pickup to delivery.
- Monitor shipments, provide updates, and resolve any service issues.
- Maintain accurate records using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of freight markets, carriers, and supply chain operations.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, TMS platforms).
Compensation:
- 100% commission-based structure.
- Earnings based on a percentage of gross profit per load.
