The main responsibility for this position is to assemble and "make ready" trailers when they arrive.
Work closely with the sales department to have customers’ orders ready in a timely manner.
Will be operating forklifts and tractors, using basic hand tools, and other equipment to perform job duties.
Also responsible for the overall appearance of the grounds including grass, driveways, and staging inventory.

We take the time to understand how the trailer will be used, the nature of the cargo, and any other specific requirements that may determine what trailer or optional equipment will be needed for the specific application. Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with all established industry safety norms and other quality control measures while conducting work processes.
- Perform regular servicing and maintenance of equipment, maintaining related service records.
- Replace or repair parts when necessary. Inspect, adjust, and repair electric and hydraulic brakes.
- Repair decking by removing and replacing broken or rotted deck boards.
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines or work pieces.
- Document work hours, parts utilized and assembled, and work performed.
- Comply with Company/agency policy/procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Wear required personal protective equipment during performance of job duties.
- All other duties that may be assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be dependable and customer service oriented
- Good verbal communications & documentation skills preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
