We take the time to understand how the trailer will be used, the nature of the cargo, and any other specific requirements that may determine what trailer or optional equipment will be needed for the specific application. Job Description
The position is directly responsible for developing new clients for new and used trailers and maintaining and servicing existing accounts.
JOB DUTIES:
- Contacting prospective customers and assigned accounts.
- Understanding and meeting the customers’ specific needs, while maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promoting and selling of gooseneck, bumper-pull, enclosed, and other trailers.
- Writing sales orders, securing deposits and processing paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Developing and presenting sales proposals to clients.
- Accountable to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Previous experience in sales- related to the transportation industry is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of the trailer / freight industry.
- Excellent customer service experience and strong communication skills.
- Solid time management and analytical skills are necessary.
