Job Title: Parts Receiving
The Parts Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and organizing all incoming parts and inventory. This role ensures that all shipments are properly documented, stored, and distributed to the correct departments in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of parts and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all incoming parts for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
- Properly label, store, and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts receiving and storage areas.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments to ensure timely delivery of requested parts.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
- Primarily warehouse or parts department setting.
- Regular standing, lifting, bending, and movement throughout the day.
Schedule:
- Full-time, typically Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
