In this role, you will lead software product strategy, oversee iterative development and release planning, manage product roadmaps, and collaborate closely with both technical teams and senior stakeholders. - Lead execution and management of software product strategy and development activities.
- Provide direction, oversight, and quality assurance for program deliverables.
- Drive backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative product release execution.
- Define and prioritize Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on mission requirements.
- Communicate product status, roadmaps, metrics, and priorities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support architecture, design, and implementation of mission-critical software capabilities.
- Must be an employee of the prime contractor (cannot be a subcontractor-only role).
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related technical field.
- 9 years senior-level experience with DoD software architecture & development for mission-critical systems.
- 9 years of experience supporting Agile / iterative software development and sprint release planning.
- Experience defining and prioritizing Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- 4 years of experience presenting product strategies and roadmaps to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (required on Day 1).
- Agile / Scrum / SAFe certification, such as:
- PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe SM, SAFe PO/PM.
- Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Military Service operational mission areas.
- 3 years of experience with AWS GovCloud and/or DoD CC SRG environments.
- 9 years of experience supporting U.S. Service systems (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard).
- Work on solutions that directly impact national defense missions.
- Lead meaningful software initiatives in a collaborative, solution-focused environment.
