Our client is building a new facility and has asked us to find a Sr. Food Scientist to build an R&D department from the ground up! This individual will play a key role in product development, production, scale ups, market analysis, trend identification, establishing processes and procedures, hiring a team, budgeting & more.

Position: Sr. Food Scientist
Location: Salem, MA
Type: Onsite - Full Time
Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 Bonus

Responsibilities:
- Build R&D department from the ground up
- Full cycle R&D process
- New product development
- Reformulations
- Coordinate and execute cross-functional initiatives and projects within company
Requirements to be considered:
- 6 years R&D experience within food and/or beverage manufacturing
- Bachelors Degree - Science based, Prefer Food Science or Chemistry
- Must have product development experience with fda & usda products
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
