Duties
- Load and unload construction materials using forklifts, Skidsteers, and other heavy equipment
- Operate machinery safely to move large or heavy items around the yard
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials
- Conduct regular safety inspections adhering to OSHA standards and report any hazards or incidents
- Support warehouse management by organizing storage areas, stacking materials properly, and maintaining cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members to execute order picking, load & unload tasks, and materials handling efficiently
- Maintaining the quality of the material and equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehousing or construction yard operations
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, backhoes, Excavators, and Telehandlers.
- Knowledge of warehousing and shipping & receiving procedures
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment maintenance is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
