Essential Functions:
- Utilizes data and applies cost analysis to compare and evaluate benefits plans.
- Performs FMLA/LOA/STD/WC administration. Responds to routine inquiries, assists with billing past due insurance premiums and drafts/sends correspondence as needed.
- Serves as liaison and manages vendor relationship between Sedgwick and manager/staff for FMLA/STD/WC requests.
- Develops training and educational materials for managers, timekeepers, and employees. Maintains LOA intranet pages.
- Audits STD usage by staff. Monitors and counsels managers and staff on appropriate use of short-term disability under NCH policy.
- Collaborates with various service lines to develop new policies and practices, and to resolve complex situations. Counsels leaders on administering leave policies.
