Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Modifies existing reports under guidance and develops basic reporting solutions from defined requirements. Helps document report specifications, definitions, and data sources.
- Supports users in retrieving data and understanding basic report content. Provides training and support to others to ensure effective use of business intelligence reports, tools, and solutions.
- Translates business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
- Performs basic data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy.
- Collaborates with senior BI analysts, clinical informatics teams, and business users to understand reporting needs.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field, required.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, follow instructions, and contribute in a team setting.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and proficiency in writing basic queries.
- Familiarity with at least one BI tool such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Crystal Reports.
- Understanding of relational databases and data structures.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, or healthcare analytics, preferred.
