Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Maintains HR information, implementation, testing, training, problem-resolution, auditing and data analysis, and administration of the Workday HCM system.
- Assists with system implementation, configuration, testing, training, auditing, and ongoing maintenance of HRIS systems as it relates to all areas of HR and Payroll. Serves as backup to the other HRIS Systems Analysts for all modules of Workday HCM.
- Identifies, develops, and programs system enhancements to ensure system optimization, runs reports, and interacts with vendors to establish system interfaces.
- Provides immediate technical assistance, training, and problem resolution whenever possible on HRIS systems, including Workday HCM and Kronos.
- Ensures system documentation and training materials are kept current and up to date.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, human resources, computer science, or healthcare administration; or equivalent work-related experience required.
Skills
- Knowledge of information systems principles and techniques, timekeeping systems, and knowledge of human resources principles.
- Advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications (i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/Access), required.
- Experience creating DSS / sequel queries, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills required in interactions with hospital personnel, vendors, and the public.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills, required.
- One year of human resources experience, preferably in a health care setting, required.
- Two years of experience in a customer-service related capacity, required.
- Project management experience, desired.
- Extensive knowledge of labor, EEO, and wage and hour laws, required.
