Licensure Requirement
Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation must be maintained.

Essential Functions:
- Maintains basic understanding of congenital heart disease, cath lab interventions, surgical repairs, and complications which lead to the acquisition of high quality and diagnostic images.
- Performs echocardiograms at various offsite clinics and local hospitals.
- Provides training and positive mentorship to various trainees.
- Maintains the required CMEs for pediatric echocardiography registration.
- Participates in department quality and process initiatives.
- Participates in various research projects.
Bachelor’s degree in an applied science and a graduate from an accredited medical ultrasound school preferred.
Licensure Requirement
- Must be actively registered in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Must be actively registered in Pediatric Echocardiography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within two years of hire date.
Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation must be maintained.
