Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Gathers and documents current and future state business processes, functional and non-functional requirements, and carries out stakeholder needs assessments. Ensures that business requirements align with the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Facilitates communication between business and IS teams, ensuring a common understanding of requirements and expectations.
- Creates clear and concise documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. Collaborates with quality assurance teams to develop test cases and validate results and may participate in the testing process to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Collaborates with project managers to establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitors project progress, identifies risks, and proposes solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Analyzes existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborates with technical teams to assess the feasibility of any proposed solutions.
- Assists in cost estimates and proposal documentation for funding requests (capital, operating, internal)
