You’ll collaborate closely with service managers, technicians, and clients to define project scopes, prepare estimates, and support the sales process — helping us maintain our reputation for excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct roof inspections and gather data to prepare accurate service repair estimates.
- Develop detailed cost analyses including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review specifications, drawings, and site conditions to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with the service department and operations teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
- Utilize company estimating tools and software to prepare bids and proposals.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding project scope, pricing, and timelines.
- Track and follow up on submitted proposals to assist in closing service opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and industry standards.
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes.
- Proficiency with estimating or project management software preferred.
- Ability to interpret work orders and specifications.
- Familiarity with manufacturer warranties.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit project sites as needed.
- Comfortability with heights.
- Experience with The EDGE, FCS, or similar estimating software.
- Manufacturer certifications or technical training in commercial roofing systems.
- Prior experience in a service or repair-focused estimating environment.
