What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Installer position at Nations KEC?
Nations KEC is seeking an experienced installer to join our team. We are a successful design-build company that provides high-quality services to restaurateurs. The installer will receive company-provided training to install commercial kitchen equipment. This individual will need to conduct site surveys of installation areas to assess their suitability and position the equipment accordingly. Additionally, you will advise clients on appropriate maintenance procedures when necessary. To ensure success as an installer, you must implement projects safely, accurately, and promptly. An outstanding installer will offer solution-oriented recommendations for installation challenges and equipment usability when needed.
Responsibilities:
Review the installation guidelines if any instructions regarding the equipment are unclear.
Prepare for the outlined tasks by ensuring that all necessary tools and supplies are available.
Follow managements directions and utilize company-provided training to complete installation tasks.
Be capable of performing designated tasks both independently and collaboratively with team members.
Communicate effectively and represent the company well with clients, vendors, and contractors from various trades.
Assess and consult on the readiness of proposed installation sites.
Deliver and position equipment according to specifications, site conditions, client requests, and equipment layout plans.
Assess equipment to ensure functionality and perform equipment start-ups.
Provide clients with maintenance-related advice.
Clean up installation sites promptly.
Adhere to all applicable building and safety regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven and varied installation experience.
Discretion in following installation instructions.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Clarity in addressing unclear requests.
Physically fit (capable of lifting at least 150 lbs.)
Mechanically inclined
Ability to maintain and follow a full schedule.
Valid drivers license (class C preferred)
