Job Description: Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Technician –Senior Apartment Community Location: Mid Tule Village Apartments 321 SE 7th St, Tulia, TX 79088 Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week) About the Role: Mid Tule Village Apartments is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the property’s 50 apartment units, handling day-to-day repairs, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents (“make ready” tasks). Key Responsibilities: Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliances, carpentry, and painting). Complete make-ready duties including cleaning, patching, painting, and ensuring units are move-in ready. Maintain the exterior and common areas of the property. Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all building systems. Communicate with property management regarding needed repairs or supplies. Qualifications: Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or a similar role preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must have reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools.
