🔍 About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a fast-growing consumer products / e-commerce company.
This role is ideal for a finance leader with deep expertise in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and data-driven decision making, who thrives in a dynamic, operationally focused environment.
📊 Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
- Lead annual budgeting and ongoing financial forecasting processes
- Perform detailed customer and product-level Direct Contribution Margin (DCM) analysis
- Drive cost center reporting, variance analysis, and expense control
- Partner with operations on demand planning, inventory, and production purchasing
- Build and maintain advanced financial models in Excel
- Support and enhance Power BI dashboards and financial reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with bank covenant reporting and lender requirements
- Lead ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects
✅ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred)
- 8 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
- Experience within a consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce company strongly preferred
- Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling (must-have)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
- Strong experience with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with Power BI, business intelligence, or data visualization tools
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
