The Motor Coach Operations Manager oversees daily operational performance for our charter and line-run motor coach division. This role leads dispatch, driver scheduling, fleet readiness, safety compliance, and customer service execution. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day motor coach operations to ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality service.
- Oversee dispatch functions, including trip assignments, driver scheduling, and after-hours on-call rotation.
- Maintain accurate bus availability, out-of-service reporting, and spare bus utilization.
- Partner with maintenance leadership to monitor fleet readiness and escalate urgent mechanical issues.
- Communicate with drivers regarding trip updates, policy expectations, and incident response.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, state regulations, and internal safety standards.
- Review and approve driver hours, payroll, and timekeeping accuracy.
- Coordinate charter logistics, customer requirements, and special service needs.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of drivers and dispatch staff.
- Lead operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as point of contact for escalated customer issues and service disruptions.

Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of transportation operations experience; motor coach or school bus preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
- Proven leadership experience with frontline transportation teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive operational demands.
