Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems of heavy trucks and trailers.
- Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety standards; perform wheel alignments and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle handling.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed; communicate clearly with team members and customers about repair status.
Experience
- Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic or service technician with dealership or industrial repair background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, transmissions, HVAC systems, and automotive electrical systems.
