Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rolling Meadows, IL, for a CAD/CAM Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and managing computer-aided design (CAD) data and ensuring designs meet technical requirements necessary for the production. Day-to-day tasks include working on DFM & tooling using Ucam, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving design-related challenges to ensure efficient production processes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Ucam or similar software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in PCB manufacturing or the electronics industry is a strong plus
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and reach with both hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and to perform repetitive motions. The employee is frequently required to sit.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements are necessary to complete the keyboarding, mousing, filing, and copying functions of the job.
