We’re currently seeking a NP-Gastroenterology to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opportunity:
- Start date: 11/23/2026
- Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
- Salary: $110/hr
Work Details:
- Evaluate medical problems of patients in the assigned Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice setting and request consultation of other specialties when indicated
- Provide education to patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications pertinent to the patient’s condition
- Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with NCQA, The Joint Commission, state regulatory standards, and evidence-based standards of care.
- Maintain documentation compliance for appropriate coding and billing
- Facilitate evaluation of records by physician(s), peers, and quality standards according to protocols and receive and implement constructive directives
- Referral of complex and high-priority cases to collaborating physicians concerning complicated diagnostic problems, serious illness, complicated therapeutic issues, and re-evaluation of chronic conditions
- Provide medical and emergency interventions appropriate to the client’s needs; prescribe and monitor medications relevant to the diagnosis; order and monitor the appropriateness of emergency interventions.
- This role requires a strong understanding of gastroenterology, the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and the skill to provide comprehensive patient care. Requirements:
- AHA BLS
- NY State License
- Min of 3 years’ recent experience
