We're currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our amazing team!
Details of the Opportunity:
- Start date: As soon as Credentialed
- Pay rate: $175 hourly
- Anticipated schedule: Part Time/PRN (24 or 12 hour shifts (mainly 24 hour))
- EMR is Cerner
Daily Range of Responsibilities:
- Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient’s recovery
- Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition
- Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan
- Develop effective patient care plans
- Refer patients to the appropriate specialists
- Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation
- Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork
- Maintain the patient’s medical records
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited United States medical school
- Must have completed a residency and be BE/BC
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Experience in Emergency Medicine
- ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
