- Standard Shift : M- F 7:30am to 4pm with oncall rotation once a month.
What the Cardiac Sonographer will be doing:
- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic studies following IAC and departmental protocols (M-mode, 2D, color flow, pulsed wave, continuous wave Doppler).
- Work with contrast agents, saline bubble studies, portable and stress echo studies.
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiography and mentor trainees.
- Document procedures accurately using advanced information systems.
Qualifications for the Cardiac Sonographer:
- Graduate of cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical ultrasound program (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years echocardiography experience preferred.
- BLS (AHA) required; RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.
Salary : $35 - $46
