US Space Forces - Indo-Pacific (USSPACEFOR-INDOPAC) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the component field command to US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) responsible for planning, integrating, synchronizing, and executing command and control of space operations in support of combatant command priorities.
As the nation's only intelligence organization dedicated entirely to space issues, NSIC is uniquely positioned to help USSPACEFOR-INDOPAC achieve those goals. Our liaison there will be the NSIC Commander's voice in this critical component command, ensuring the operators and planners conducting joint space operations in the Indo-Pacific theater are informed by the foundational intelligence only NSIC provides.
We will also rely on this individual to work with other organizations in the Hawaii area, including US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), US Pacific Fleet (PACFLT), US Army Pacific (USARPAC), and US Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC). This is a 3-year rotational position (with the option to extend for a 4th year) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
We're looking for someone with experience: 1. With multiple elements of NSIC's mission 2. Interacting with senior members of external organizations 3. Coordinating intelligence products 4. Supporting wargames and/or exercises 5. With space or other military operations.
