Patient Relations Specialist / Client Concierge – National Sleep Solutions

About the Role
A Patient Relations Specialist is the Client Concierge of our medical practice—responsible for creating a 5-star patient experience from the very first interaction. You are the welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face that greets patients in person, setting the tone for a comfortable and hopeful visit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional experience to every patient by phone, email, and in person.
- Greet patients enthusiastically and assist with check-in, registration, and intake.
- Handle scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and payment collection.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in patient records, billing, and documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support daily operations and patient flow.
- Follow up with patients and referral sources to ensure outstanding service and continuity of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask while staying calm and professional.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with patients, coworkers, and referral sources.
- High attention to detail with the ability to organize and complete tasks systematically.
- A blend of enthusiasm, empathy, and compassion to make patients feel genuinely cared for.
- Proficiency with computers and comfort learning new systems (EMR experience preferred).
- A team player who works collaboratively, builds morale, and contributes to a positive work culture.
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and move throughout the clinic during shifts.
- Age 18 or older; preference given to candidates with some college education or previous medical office experience, especially in a sleep medicine or clinical setting.
- Must maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and consistent reliability.
Compensation & Schedule
- Independent Contractor (1099) position.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
- Flexible schedule with occasional evening hours as needed.
