What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager, Order Processing position at National Seating & Mobility?
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Manage the Order Process team and provide guidance and direction to 20 team members
- Monitor team member performance and ensure both quality and timeliness are provided
- Coordinate with vendors for order accuracy, responsiveness to quote and purchase order confirmations and on-time deliver
- Actively engages with vendors and sourcing team to anticipate, plan, implement changes
- Drives improvement with the tracking and management of PO lifecycle
- Reviews and responds to field requests
- Provides regular updates to field leadership for Order Processing performance
- Effective liaison with vendor teams to support and drive integrated data exchange
- Serves as subject matter expert for quoting and purchasing processes
- Supports supply chain systems as needed and participating in year-end inventory processes
- Various projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications/ Education/Experience
- Strong leader who can work with multiple stakeholders, develop and execute information strategy while being able to manage day-to-day tactical activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail. Highly organized.
- Ability to manage communications to all internal organizational levels and to external vendors.
