Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a College Golf Scout, primarily based in Phoenix, AZ, with opportunities to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying talented high school golfers, evaluating their skills and potential, building relationships with athletes, families, and coaches, and guiding them through the college recruiting process. The College Golf Scout will provide strategic advice to aspiring athletes, while actively networking with college golf programs to create opportunities for recruitment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of golf and expertise in player evaluation, coaching, or scouting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with athletes, families, and coaches
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid working environment
- Experience with using technology for presentations and remote communication; proficiency in platforms like CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- A bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience in sports management, coaching, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in college athletics, recruiting, or a related role is a plus
