Remediation/Restoration Technician

This role is responsible for performing water damage mitigation and environmental remediation services on residential and commercial properties. Duties include assessing affected areas, removing water-damaged materials, and restoring the site to a clean, safe, and stable condition. The position requires adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures while maintaining clear communication with supervisors, clients, and project managers. Looking for someone with longevity with pervious employers.

Experience:

• Restoration: 3 years (Required)
• Certifications in Mold, Water Damage and Remediation (Preferred)

Hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Work Location: In person

Qualifications:

• Prior Experience in restoration is required
• Must possess a strong work ethic, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Profession demeanor
• Must be a self-starter and have ability to multi-task and work efficiently with interruptions
• High school diploma/GED
• Driver's License is required

Job Description:

• Complete jobs according to National Renovation Inc ® processes per work order and SOW.
• Perform water damage mitigation including controlled demolition, and structural drying.
• Remove and dispose of affected drywall, insulation, baseboards, and flooring materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Communicate job schedules with supervisors to ensure jobs are being completed at a reasonable rate.
• Conduct mold remediation activities, including setting up containment, negative air systems, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial applications.
• Perform bacterial and biohazard cleanup using approved cleaning agents and PPE.
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site.
• Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers
• Resolve problems quickly as they arise
• Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, ETC
• Job duties as otherwise assigned

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
