Job Description
RAM Mounts is looking for a high energy, self-starter to lead the charge for RAM Mounts in the powersports, off-road and overland verticals. Your passion for all things powersports including motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, along with an interest in off-roading and overlanding will help contribute to your success. RAM has an established book of business with the most recognizable names in the powersports industry. Your role is to grow the awareness and knowledge of RAM to expand the brand’s business in these segments. You will lead the charge on creating opportunities to work on a variety of projects. Your sales audience includes OEMs, distributors, device manufacturers, retailers, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow sales from a well-developed pipeline of prospects and within a group of pre-existing accounts.
- Maintain and expand your database of accounts and relationships through face to face and web-based meetings, networking, and outreach, identifying key decision makers along the way.
- Accurately provide pricing information, quotations, and partner level expectations to all current and perspective customers.
- Analyze industry trends and partner with engineering to identify and bring new products to market.
- Manage customer account information in our Customer Relationship Management system.
- Partner with our Sales Support Team to manage your customers’ day-to-day transactional needs through new purchase orders, order inquiries, and purchase order discrepancies.
- Develop strategic approaches for sales within your vertical with the ability to recognize and execute opportunities at various partnership levels.
- Support and build OEM, distribution, ecommerce, and retail relationships to ensure successful partnerships across all partner levels.
- Build working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
- Attend trade shows, dealer events, and other in person activities with the goal of representing RAM Mounts as the leader in rugged mounting solutions for electronics and more.
Skills and Specifications
- Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- High technical and mechanical aptitude is preferred in powersports and automotive markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel and CRM programs.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Decision-making, problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support the sales objectives of the business, travel expected is 20-30%.
- Should be genuine, honest, assertive, accountable, and systematic.
Education and Qualifications
- Prefer 2-4 years of sales experience or transferable skills.
- Prefer bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with powersports and Off-road/overland.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
Salary Range: $78,000 – 85,000 per year
