Qualifications:
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience: You qualify at Grade 05 level if you possess one year of specialized experience that equips you with the skills needed to perform the job duties. This specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the Grade 04 level to meet the qualification requirements in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as clerical support work with general office automation software, including word processing and spreadsheets; and use a computer-based data system to prepare reports and process time and attendance.

Education Substitution: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college, university or business, secretarial, or technical school may be substituted for the required experience. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet qualifications.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations, (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Responsibilities:
The individual selected for this position will:- Perform duties as timekeeper for the branch, establishing time-keeping codes and assisting units with proper codes needed to charge time; assist supervisors in keying time for their employees when needed; prepare, review and modify the time entry report and maintain the time and attendance reports for the branch.
- Assist employees and supervisor in preparing the document for leave without pay (LWOP), family medical leave (FMLA), request for advance sick leave, reports, donor leave programs, etc. for the branch.
- Edit and reformat electronic drafts of documents that often require graphics and tables; transmit and receive documents electronically proofread materials to ensure conformance with office standards.
- Develop training aids for use by office members and provide them with hands-on training.
- Perform simple troubleshooting of systems and/or software problems encountered by coworkers.
