The Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate communication and address project needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from ground-up development through final completion
- Supervise and coordinate with various trades, including mechanical, fire protection, concrete, and others, to ensure seamless project execution
- Oversee the work of the Electrical Contractor, ensuring all electrical scope is completed to specification, on time, and in compliance with safety and code requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to superintendents and site personnel
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in commercial or industrial construction project management
- Strong background in electrical systems, preferably with hands-on experience or prior responsibility for electrical scope
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience as a superintendent or in a supervisory role on construction sites
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and building codes
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, squatting, and climbing ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various environments, including construction sites, rooftops, confined spaces, and office settings
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, harnesses)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and inclement weather
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on uneven surfaces
- Good visual acuity to read technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals, and to perform detailed work
- Ability to sit at a desk, type, and talk for extended periods (for office-based tasks)
