Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling, and answering questions about merchandise
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor organized
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely
- Support the team with basic retail math for pricing, discounts, and transaction totals while ensuring accuracy in cash register operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus for leadership opportunities
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, and upselling techniques beneficial
