What You’ll Do
- Keep pools sparkling: Perform thorough cleaning of swimming pools, including scrubbing tiles, vacuuming floors and stairs, netting debris, and emptying skimmer and pump baskets.
- Balance water chemistry: Test and adjust chemical levels to ensure safe and clean water, including adding chlorine, acid, and other necessary treatments.
- Maintain equipment: Inspect and ensure proper operation of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters. Perform backwashing and routine maintenance as needed.
- Be the face of NPP: Deliver friendly, professional, and customer-focused service at every visit. Communicate clearly with clients and provide updates or recommendations as needed.
- Troubleshoot and inspect: Identify and report any issues with pool conditions or equipment. Advise clients on next steps or escalate to management when necessary.
- Stay organized: Manage your daily route efficiently, maintain accurate service records, and ensure your company vehicle is clean, stocked, and in good working condition.
- Communicate clearly: Use email and messaging tools to stay in touch with the internal team and provide timely updates on service completion and customer feedback.
- Support team operations: Complete paperwork, maintain inventory of supplies and chemicals, and participate in regular team check-ins and training sessions.
What You Bring
- A positive, customer-first attitude
- A valid driver’s license (3-year history) and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle report
- 1 years of hands-on pool service experience performing full-service route work, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and identifying equipment issues while working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and grow in the pool industry is a must
- Ability to work outdoors and stay active
- Reliability, independence, and pride in your work
What to Expect on the Job
- Working in various weather conditions (sun, rain, heat)
- Lifting and carrying equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)
- Driving a company vehicle between service locations
- Performing physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Using tools and handling pool chemicals safely (training provided)

Environmental Conditions:
General Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
Outdoor Service Environment: Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Requirements:
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
