What You’ll Do
As a Pool Repair Technician, you’ll be the face of NPP for our customers, ensuring their pools are safe, efficient, and fully operational. You’ll handle:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and installing pool equipment, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
- Evaluating pool systems and providing professional recommendations for repairs or upgrades
- Communicating clearly with customers to explain repair options and solutions
- Documenting work accurately using our mobile technology
- Maintaining parts, equipment, and chemical inventory in your company vehicle
- Performing weekly vehicle inspections and notifying mechanics of issues
- Assisting with technical training for peers, when needed
- Collaborating with office staff to ensure billing and accounting accuracy
- Suggesting innovative process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or GED required
- RAIL License is required
- 2 years of equipment repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity with pool systems preferred
- Knowledge of pool equipment brands is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and 3 years of verifiable driving history
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
- Professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented
- Adaptable, reliable, and ready to grow with the company

Environmental Conditions:
General Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
Outdoor Service Environment: Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Requirements:
If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
