SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for providing efficient, day-to-day customer service and operational support in a campus retail environment. This position involves cashiering, merchandising, inventory maintenance, and assisting with store organization and promotions. Duties also include supporting shipping and handling activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, customer-focused, and detailed oriented and must be available to work Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm for a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems; handle cash, change, and receipts accurately.
- Greet customers and provide assistance with inquiries and purchases.
- Receive, price, and stock merchandise according to store procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organize product displays and storage.
- Monitor inventory; report low or out-of-stock items to the manager.
- Assist with annual physical inventory counts.
- Produce signage for events, ads, and promotions.
- Pack and ship online or phone orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Required skills/abilities:
- Basic cashiering and customer service procedures.

Education and Experience:
- Some prior retail or customer service experience.

- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
