Are you a driven fundraiser who thrives on building relationships, leading large-scale events, and making a real impact? The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) is seeking a Chesapeake Regional Manager to grow revenue, lead our signature Together in TEAL® Run/Walk in Annapolis, and strengthen community ties across the central Maryland area. This role blends hands-on fundraising and event leadership with opportunities to connect survivors, caregivers, and partners to life-changing resources and programs.


Key Responsibilities


Fundraising & Event Leadership

  • Develop and deliver a year-round fundraising strategy with clear revenue goals.
  • Plan and execute NOCC’s annual Together in TEAL® Run/Walk.
  • Cultivate and steward corporate sponsors, donors, and in-kind supporters.
  • Oversee event committees, volunteers, and all logistics (venue, permits, vendors, supplies).


Community & Mission Engagement

  • Build meaningful connections with survivors, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Represent NOCC at awareness events, health fairs, and local forums.
  • Coordinate community programs (monthly virtual support groups, one in-person program per year).


Volunteer Engagement

  • Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to support fundraising and community activities.
  • Recognize contributions and sustain long-term engagement.


Marketing & Awareness

  • Partner with national communications on consistent branding.
  • Manage local NOCC social media presence (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Leverage media outlets to promote events and mission impact.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years in fundraising, nonprofit development, or event management (charity walk/run experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record with corporate sponsorships and donor cultivation.
  • Confident public speaker, skilled at managing committees and volunteers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Salesforce a plus.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings/weekends.
